In my shop I have been developing and designing personalised candles for years, but I wanted to allow people to do their own, online. "Probably impossible" I kept hearing, then chatting in my 'local' one night to friend, Dave Jackson of Fyefield Associates, I was told 'No Problem'.

He started working with the gobbledygook he calls PHP and proceeded to watch my eyes glaze over as he tried to explain it all to me.

Minutes later we have carolgeescandles.com.

But seriously, an awful lot of time, effort and headscratching has gone into developing and producing this section of carolgeescandles, please take a little time to study the Designer Area and hopefully, you will be amazed as to how quickly you can design a candle for that special occasion for a friend or relative.

Design Your Candle Design Your Candle

In this section, all candles are 6" high and 2½" diameter, and arrive in a clear acetate Display Tube.

The font on the above designs is 'Liffy Script', this is the font we now use.

Delivery in the UK is normally within 5 working days or sooner, the Rest of the World, 7 working days or sooner.

Here are a few prompts that might be useful until you get used to how the designs work then it will become all too easy.

  • Don't be afraid to experiment with designing candles, you will not order or be charged for anything until you go to final checkout.
  • Try to avoid using 'to' and 'from', they are unnecessary.
  • Do not make your message too wordy.
  • In many cases you can either select from a pre-written drop down script selection or write your own script.
  • You can choose a white or ivory candle, the colour of writing and select from many different borders and corners.
  • In the 'graphics' you will be given a choice of suitable images, click on the one you like, you can also insert your own graphic or photograph.
  • Check everything thoroughly before ordering, then we will make your candle, adjusting any images and font sizes to suit, but the final layout design will be all yours.
